Southern Bibliophile was created due to my overpowering urge to connect with readers, like myself and to spread the word about awesome books and authors.

Currently, 90% of what I read and will review falls into the YA category. It seems that YA books are where it's at, so to speak. I personally have been more entertained by young adult novels than I ever have been with their adult counterparts. I will however be reviewing good fiction, fantasy novels, etc as I come across it.

My name is Madi. I am a 27 year old who loves long walks on the beach, jimmy buffet....oh wait, wrong website.
I love LOVE LOVE books. I always have a book in my bag and I try to read a little every day. I would love to someday own a bookstore but for now I manage a small business in a small town in the south. I enjoy photography, sewing, getting together with my friends, and of course, reading. I am constantly on the lookout for a great book to read.
